Brer Adams, Director
Brer has extensive infrastructure and energy markets experience in Australia and internationally, including with Macquarie Group leading principal investments in the environment and clean technology Sectors. During his time at Macquarie Group and role as Associate Director Brer also advised on renewable energy and electricity transmission projects and was a nominee director for early stage environmental service businesses. Brer was also a senior director with the G20-established Global Infrastructure Hub.
Sam Cooper, Director
Sam has extensive experience in renewable energy project development in Australia, Japan and South Africa. Sam’s experience covers all phases of development, from land identification and working with local communities and stakeholders through to arranging approvals, construction contracting, project structuring and financing in preparation for construction and operations. Prior to joining Rise Renewables, Sam worked for Macquarie Group in Australia and internationally and also fulfils non-executive roles within the Australian renewable energy industry.
Technical and Engineering Partner
Rise Renewables is partnering with SNC Lavalin as its technical and engineering partner. SNC Lavalin is currently undertaking the front end engineering design and is the Project’s preferred provider of the Engineering Procurement Contract.
SNC-Lavalin is a leading global engineering and construction group. SNC-Lavalin developed its first hydro electric project more than a century ago in Canada and is today delivering numerous hydro electric projects globally.
SNC has been appointed to design and deliver four hydropower projects currently underway in Canada.
